TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Travel expenses.

 Mileage is charged at a rate of £0.50 per mile from Bedminster, Bristol. This is to include, should it be required, congestion charging and parking charges.

Travelling over 2 hours will require an overnight stay before the event and an hourly rate of £50.00 if travel exceeds 1h30min.

 

Relocation/Change of venue

If you require Pati to relocate or change the venue with you, during the period Pati is booked for, this will incur relocation expenses which are charged at a rate of £35/hour. Any additional travel expenses will be added which are charged at 0.45p/mile.

 

Cancellation Policy.

The client can cancel the event any time up to 12 weeks before the event by informing Pati in writing. Pati will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until the point of cancellation as the booking fee is non-refundable.

 

If the client cancels the booking 12-8 weeks before the wedding day, 50% of the remaining balance will have to be paid. If the cancellation is made 8 weeks before the Wedding day this will result in full payment.

 

The client can postpone the event and if Pati is available on the new date, no charges will be applied if changes are made 8 weeks before the initial date booked. Inflation charges will apply if postponed bookings are made for the next year. 

 

If the wedding is postponed or rescheduled the deposit/balance paid can be carried over to a new date (depending on availability). All payments towards the new date are non-refundable should the new date be cancelled or postponed again. 

In the unfortunate event that an artist/stylist is unable to perform services on the trial date or wedding/event date, for any reason, including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather, etc., reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of retainers for services not provided. Every effort will be made to replace the artist at short notice, but this can not be guaranteed and is subject to a replacement artist's availability.

 

No refunds will be given for cancellations based on health concerns on the day.

 

Once the booking is confirmed, if the number of hair or makeup services reduces, the rate is still the same as what we agreed on the booking. 

 

​Booking fee 

To secure your booking, I ask for a non-refundable £100 booking fee to be paid no later than 7 days after your initial enquiry and quotation, which can be paid by bank transfer. If no payment is received within these 7 days, your date will be released and available for booking by other clients.

 

Wedding trial 

The Makeup trial usually takes 2.5 hours. This is billed separately due to the services being carried out on a separate date, the price for the Hair and Makeup trial is £200 and £150 for Makeup/Hair only.

Trials take place at my home studio in BS3 2SG, Monday-Thursday in peak season with some availability on Saturdays from November-March.

 

Trial service must be paid 24 hours before the appointment. The appointment won't be carried out until the payment has been made.

Please get in touch at least 72 hours in advance to reschedule a trial should you not be able to attend. 

Trials, unlike the wedding day, can be rescheduled for both parties within reason. As much notice as possible is appreciated.

 

Payment 

Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.

Final payment, including agreed fees concerning additional party members, must be paid no less than 7 days before the wedding.

 

The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract.

 

Liability 

All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist before application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Photography

The client agrees that Pati may use any photography for publicity purposes, including but not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages.

Please state if you would NOT like any photos taken/used for marketing.

Pati will never post a photo before the event has started to avoid spoiling any surprises for guests of the event.
